(1) Remove Old Fuel from the Gas Tank
Leaving untreated fuel in your gas tank for more than 90 days is bad for your lawn mower. The gas will begin to go bad and form deposits in the fuel tank, carburetor, fuel lines, and fuel filter.
(2) Draining the Carburetor Fuel Bowl
The small amount of gas remains in the carburetor fuel bowl. Drain the fuel bowl so the gas wo n’t gum up, and your carburetor.
(3) Disconnecting the Batter
Important: Recharge batteries. before starting your lawn mower in the spring, Do not store batteries on cement floors the will drain the charge and may even kill it.
(4) Other things that need to be done.
Change your lawn mower oil, Air filter, check belts and sharpen or change blades
In the spring your mower will be ready to go!!.
